আবু ধাবি (দুবাই) তে তৈরী হতে চলেছে পৃথিবীর সবথেকে বড় হিন্দু মন্দির,মন্দির বানানো ও সমস্ত কাজের দায়িত্ব পেয়েছে  গুজরাট,আজ  মন্দিরের শিলান্যাস করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী ।   আরব আমিরশাহিতে এখনও পর্যন্ত একটি মাত্র হিন্দু মন্দির রয়েছে। সেটি দুবাইয়ে।নরেন্দ্র  মোদী ক্ষমতায় আসার পরেই আবু ধাবিতে মন্দির গড়া নিয়ে আলোচনা শুরু হয়। ২০১৫ সালে সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরশাহি সফরে যান মোদী। তার পরই সে দেশের সরকার ঘোষণা করে, তারা হিন্দু মন্দির গড়ার জন্য ৫৫ হাজার বর্গ মিটার জমি দেওয়া হয় ।আসলে দুবাইতে ৭০% মানুস বর্তমানে ভারতীয়,সেই নজর থেকে দেখতে গেলে একটি বড় হিন্দু মন্দির দরকার ছিল ও তা আজ পূরণ করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী ।
